Muscat International Airport Completes First Steps of New
Environmental Achievement

As a part of airport carbon emissions management program, Muscat International Airport receives a accreditation certification for airport emissions management from ACI for its development in carbon emission mapping. This to pursuit the commitment to address climate change and to ensure to develop and sustainable future for airports by effectively managing the environmental impacts of operations.
The program, organized by ACI, helps in enabling all airports in different regions of the world to participate in the program and obtain accreditation certification within four levels the mapping, reduction, optimization, Neutrality.
Muscat Airport is working in a long-term plan to achieve natural carbon emissions under its direct control.
