The company confirmed that vaccination will include all employees in Oman Airports, Ground Handling and Cargo, who are eligible for the first dose.

Oman Airports also explained that the Covid-19 vaccination campaign would include the staff of Muscat International Airport, Suhar Airport and PDO’s Airports in the desert fields at KIMS Clinic at Muscat International Airport. The Staff of Duqm Airport will be vaccinated at Kims Clinic which is located in the airport, whereas the staff of Salalah Airport will be vaccinated at Lifeline Hospital.

Abdullah Bin Saleh Al-Yafaei, Oman Airports Vice President of Support Services, explained "Through this campaign and under the full supervision of the Ministry of Health agencies, we seek to encourage our staff to take the vaccine as part of our continuous efforts to go back to our normal operations base and create a safe working environment for employees. I call on all staff to take the initiative to consider the vaccination provided by the airport as a way for all of us to safely move beyond this critical phase in order to stop the spread of this epidemic. I would also like to note that providing the vaccines for employees in the workplace is an important role for all the national companies, which will contribute to the Ministry of Health's campaign efforts to achieve the best standards of health and safety."

Oman Airports has established a number of health and administrative requirements for its campaign. Any member of staff must report to the Human Resources Department specialists if he or she has been vaccinated beforehand or has been infected with the virus in the last six months. The staff member must download a mobile phone app and fill the vaccination approval form when coming to the vaccination site. The company also assured all staff members to comply with the time allocated to them by the Human Resources specialists. If they are not present on time, a further deadline will be set, and no priority will be given to them. If the employee has already taken the first dose of the Pfizer vaccine through the Ministry of Health centers, it is preferable to take the second dose also from the same centers. If he cannot take the second dose in two weeks, then he can take it from the airport clinic or other clinics mentioned above.
