As part of the Customer Experience Summit and Exhibition held in Atlanta, Georgia, USA, the first cohort of the Airport Management Professional Accreditation Programme (AMPAP) was officially graduated yesterday. This pioneering initiative was launched in partnership between Airports Council International (ACI) and the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) with the aim of enhancing the expertise of young talents in airport management and implementing the highest international standards and practices in this vital sector.
Among the graduates of this inaugural cohort were six Omani employees from Oman Airports, who successfully completed this prestigious program. Their achievement reflects the company's commitment to developing a national workforce capable of leading the aviation sector toward operational excellence. This milestone is part of Oman Airports' broader strategy to elevate the quality of airport management in the Sultanate and ensure adherence to the highest international standards.
Oman Airports affirmed that this success aligns with its vision of empowering national talent, in line with the objectives of Oman Vision 2040, which aims to build a sustainable economy based on knowledge, efficiency, and innovation.
