Oman Airports organizes three-day Eid Al Adha Souq – in support of its employees’ personal business projects

During the period prior to Eid Al Adha, Oman Airports, represented by the Department of Human Capital and Institutional Culture, has organized an Eid Souq, which aims to encourage employees of Oman Airports and its subsidiaries to present and market their personal handicrafts and home-making projects to all airport visitors.

The three-day event, which was held on the mezzanine floor of the departure terminal at Muscat International Airport from 9am to 3pm, received a large turnout from the company’s employees and travellers – who purchased various products displayed by a total of 42 participant sellers.

Among the various goods being sold were Omani food, sweets and drinks, and traditional-style Omani turbans, abayas and other garments in preparation for Eid Al Adha.

This event was proudly organized by Oman Airports as part of its social responsibility to market the products of SMEs and the personal business projects of the company’s employees. Muscat International Airport was chosen as a location due to it being Oman’s celebrated “Gateway to the World”. The event was well attended by employees and a number of travellers.
