Oman Airports, represented by its Training Centre, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the IGA Academy, Istanbul Airport, to enhance joint cooperation in the fields of aviation training.
The MoU was signed by Humood bin Salim Al Hajri, Senior Director of Training at Oman Airports, and by the HR Director at IGA Istanbul Airport.
The MoU primarily aims to strengthen friendly relations between the two sides; as both parties have demonstrated their commitment to being global leaders in aviation training, as well as to supporting each other's expansion into the industry..

Furthermore, the MoU will also contribute to enhancing cooperation between the two aviation training providers, and seek to create expansion in areas that serve the global aviation industry sector. Experiences will also be exchanged between the two entities.
The memorandum comes within the special mutual relationship between Oman Airports Training Centre and the IGA Academy, Istanbul Airport, towards expansion in areas that serve and are concerned with the development of human resources.
Notably, Oman Airports Training Centre recently obtained official accreditation to establish the Oman Airports Centre for Private Vocational and Administrative Training by the Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation; the Ministry of commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion; and the Civil Aviation Authority.
